Step 7: Plan monitoring and evaluation procedures
In this step, it is of great importance to plan the following:
- How will you monitor the planning?
- How will you evaluate learning?
- How will you evaluate your program?
- How will you determine the impact your educational program has had?
To Monitor Planning, consider the information in the following infographic:

To Plan the Learning Evaluation, you need to consider two points:
1) If the learning objectives were met and,
2) Collect information about the learning experience.
The first step of the infographic requires you to identify that the learning objectives have been met, so we recommend that you review the following interactive so that you know and can choose the best ways to evaluate each of your learning objectives.
According to what we reviewed, our example would look like this:

Step 8: Put everything in writing
All the information that you obtain through the analysis you do by following the 7 previous steps must be reflected in a document that you or other people can later refer to. Therefore, if you remember, at the beginning we shared a format where you could add the information:
- General Objective,
- Objective Group,
- Objective of the Program,
- Topics, Learning Objectives,
- Educational Activities and,
- Monitoring and evaluation procedures.
Below we will show you an example of an Education Plan that comes as an example in the Support Program for the implementation of the 2021 Code.
Before reviewing it, remember that the educational plan must work for you, so it does not necessarily have to be the same as the example we will show you. You can add dates, budget, materials required, or whatever you need to be clear about what you will do in your program.
